
Suzie is the owner and director of North Gwinnett Counseling Associates, LLC. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in both Ohio and Georgia. She's provided counseling services in several different settings since 1996. She began her career as an Elementary School Counselor, has worked as a family counselor in addiction programs, and as a child and adolescent counselor in a community mental health center.
Suzie really enjoys helping individuals and families resolve current difficulties so they may enjoy the good things in life again. She has extensive experience with children, adolescents and their families. She does not shy away from difficult problems and does not minimize what each family member may be experiencing. She has expertise with ADHD, anxiety, depression, addictions, sexual abuse, and common family difficulties.
Suzie enjoys working with youth but also couples and adults in helping them reach their goals.

Amber is the co-founder and assistant director of North Gwinnett Counseling Associates, LLC. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in 2002 and has been practicing for more than 20 years.
Amber began her career in a community mental health center, gaining extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She developed particular expertise in complex challenges such as addiction, anger management, and family dynamics. Since continuing her work in private practice, she has been dedicated to supporting teens, adults, and families throughout the challenges they face.
With over two decades of clinical experience, Amber is recognized as a seasoned and compassionate therapist. She combines a goal-oriented, strength-based approach with genuine empathy to help her clients navigate life’s challenges. Her specialties include relationship issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and stress management.
Amber is passionate about empowering clients to recognize their strengths, build healthier connections, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Kim is a family centered licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Georgia with an extensive history working both in the private and public sector. Kim brings her unique ability to hone in on each individual’s strengths crafting personalized treatment for people she serves. Kim received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut in 1996. Earlier in her career Mrs. Jones worked for the State of Connecticut. There she led a broad continuum of prevention and permanency programs with a specific focus on ensuring high quality services aimed at the wellbeing of children and adolescents. She is an expert in family centered treatment, community organization, and leadership.
Having devoted over 35 years of advocating for children, adolescents, and their families, she demonstrates an ability to guide/help people navigate complex social systems. Mrs. Jones uses a variety of treatment modalities which incorporate best practice from an eclectic and strengths-based approach. Using Cognitive Behavior and Cognitive Processing Therapy approaches, Mrs. Jones provides client-focused and trauma sensitive therapy in a judgment free environment inspiring her clients to engage in more health promoting behaviors to heal from past trauma, fears, worries and stresses.
By providing high-quality services for individuals and families, Kim is able to help them cope with the effects of complex trauma, depression, anxiety and stress by providing them with the strategies and tools that promote sustainable health and healing.
Understanding the intersection of education, professional training and experience, Kim leads with a heart for the work and people she serves. Consistently she is described by both the families she serves and those who work with her as passionate, relatable, and nonjudgmental. Families report feeling valued and respected when working with Kim as she believes that families are the experts and her role is to guide them through the journey of health and healing.
